Rising dark-carnival metal act The Injester have announced the addition of a new guitarist, Grym, to their sinister lineup. Known for their theatrical blend of heavy riffs, macabre storytelling, and twisted circus aesthetics, the band says Grym’s arrival marks the beginning of their next creative chapter.
Formed by drummer Morax, The Injester quickly established themselves as one of the most visually striking and sonically brutal acts in the UK’s underground metal scene. Their 2022 appearance at Download Festival and the release of their debut album A Spectacle to Behold cemented their reputation as a band willing to push beyond convention.
Grym, who has a long history in the heavy music underground, brings a fresh layer of menace to the band’s already crushing sound. Armed with only his Hagstrom 6-string, he promises to deliver the kind of riffs and stage presence that fans of The Injester have come to expect.
“The Injester is more than a band—it’s a vision, a living nightmare. With Grym joining us, the circus just got darker, heavier, and more dangerous,” says Morax.
Fans can expect to see Grym live with The Injester on upcoming shows and festival appearances, where his addition will add new depth to the band’s already chaotic stage spectacle.
